The banjo in the first picture was one of the first banjos I ever bought. It was a Blueridge brand model I bought from Elderly Instruments in the late 90’s. I thought it sounded and played pretty OK for how much it cost. At one point I think I had another one that was almost identical. Those were the ones I played and recorded with in the early Doornails’ and Salt Miner’s stuff. Not too long after that I bought the Bart Reiter banjo (also from Elderly Instruments) which is still the primary one I use today. I eventually sold the 2 Blueridge banjos.
